I am no fan of Fox news. They are anything but fair and balanced even reporting “objective” news, but as long as subjective remarks are made within the framework of an Editorial or Opinion piece through any news outlet, I defend their right to free speech—I just don’t watch it. That simple. That said, I think President Obama and Ms. Dunn must also consider that We The People across the spectrum of political thought are quite unhappy with what this administration has done so far. It might be much more productive for this administration use that energy to focus on what the People are livid about (9/11, Iraq/Afghanistan, Federal Reserve, H1N1, carrying on unconstitutional policies of the Bush/Cheney years, etc.) then stand up and do the right thing and right these wrongs we voted you in to do.
So, Keith Olbermann had to get a lead on a story important to citizens from an English comedy team? Speaks volumes about Mainstream Media. I’m proud of him for being Truthful about the “lapse.”

I dropped this left-right paradigm long ago, but I was curious about these statements in the article: ” Sending text messages from cell phones, along with emails and the use of social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter, will be our best weapons.” and “Let us remember that Barack Obama took office thanks in large part to strategies of this nature.” Since Mr. Dobbs is also being blasted for bringing up President Obama’s birth certificate issue, I would be interested in knowing if the Obama administration is secretly supporting these groups that “separately” speak of two highly controversial arguments about his presidency: Immigration and Place of Birth. I have no issue personally with immigration as long as it is legal immigration. I do have an issue with media anywhere trying to keep this left-right paradigm alive. Free speech is a fundamental right and should be exercised, but it becomes funneled speech when funded by special interests in government, outside the citizenry.

We really need to get a handle on these power-mongers who call themselves lobbyists—unless a lobby group is grassroots and actually represents people and not corporations, a law should be put into effect to make sure they cannot come any closer than ten miles from the Capitol and can only submit their pet-peeves on paper with NO monetary incentive allowed—period. And that’s just for starters….where’s my soapbox!

President Barack Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize
Isn’t this award much too premature? So far, President Obama has not even addressed the overwhelming demands by his own citizens yet, i.e. the Truth about 9/11, the illegal wars he continues to support in Afghanistan and Iraq. Although I had actually supported this president, he has not even lived up to the promises made to American citizens. This simply enforces my growing suspicion that President Obama is being “dressed” as a world spokesman for this so-called New World Order. How arrogant and foolish.
The very next article I saw was this: Barack Obama cancels meeting with Dalai Lama to keep China happy“President Barack Obama has refused to meet the Dalai Lama in Washington this week in a move to curry favour with the Chinese. The decision came after China stepped up a campaign urging nations to shun the Tibetan spiritual leader.”
“It means Mr Obama will become the first president not to welcome the Nobel peace prize winner to the White House since the Dalai Lama began visiting Washington in 1991.”

To me, this article reads as though the “terrorist” is the latest target in a public relations war between the FBI and CIA, as well as a frantic campaign to counter the increasing lack of public support for the Afghanistan war. Notice as well that “sources” can never be named anymore because “the investigation is ongoing.” This is not investigative journalism. BTW, the majority of us now know that “Al-Qaida operatives” have otherwise been known as CIA assets—as well, America has awakened big time since 9/11 so what is the point of planning such relatively primitive attacks these days? Must we forever be told to fear the “Big Bad Wolf”? Just a thought… .

Finally, a kind word for independent journalists and an educated citizenry. But, skeptic that the government has caused me to be, I suppose the downside would be that it is in their interest to have the entire country on-line so they can widen the scope of data mining for political manipulation.
